Valérie graduated from the prestigious École Polytechnique and holds a PhD in organic chemistry (Paris University).

She has been working in the IP field since 1994 and she held several positions in large industrial groups and major Paris IP law firms.

She then founded her own patent law firm, before joining Bandpay & Greuter as an Of Counsel attorney.

Some of her subjects of expertise include:

• medical chemistry;
• organic and inorganic chemistry;
• materials science;
• chemical engineering.

Valérie is an Expert before the Paris Court of appeal and is registered on the list of WIPO mediators.

She also teaches patent law at the Paris bar professional training school.
